Springer started his training in agility in June of 2003 and by the end of the year, had
completed all three of his Novice titles. His favorite obstacle is the jumps and his least
favorite is the chute. Springer runs every run with enthusiasm and heart. He's a joy to
work with.
We just got back from a three day USDAA show in San Antonio and I couldn't wait to tell you all
how phenomenally great this Springer is. He has completed his Novice and Advanced level courses
in under 5 months and is now in Masters. He just blows my mind. And in the Grand Prix, he
placed fourth out of 20 and was beat by three Master's dogs. And out of a total of nine
runs in three days, he qualified in seven taking home five 1st places and one 2nd and one 4th.
The two runs he didn't qualify in, were my mistakes. Everyone commented how natural this
agility stuff comes to him. It's like he doesn't even have to work at it. And the highlight
of my weekend, the Master's level dogs in his height were overheard
commenting how they are worried with the "new competition" coming upon them.
