LOST in Flower Mound, TX, 6/13/09 "BASIL"
BASIL is a very small -- some would call him "mini" -- sable and white male Sheltie. He is 3 years old, and when lost he had on his collar with vaccination tag and a tag with his name and the owners' contact information.
SIGHTING: On Thursday, June 18th, he was sighted not far from his house -- near the intersection of Peters Colony & Bruton Orand in Flower Mound. However, he ran away when people tried to catch him. This is typical for a Sheltie (a herding dog) so the best thing you can do if you spot Basil is contact the owners right away. If there is no time for that at the moment, don't chase him -- get down on the ground and see if he will come to you -- or try to engage him in play, walking/running backwards and acting joyful. Basil is a very beloved family pet, and his family is doing everything possible to find him! They are just broken hearted over his disappearance.

Savannah has no collars or identifiers on her now. Lives near City Vet in Dallas... off of Oak Lawn. She is about 30 pounds, very sweet, and will surely be missing her owner. Cinnamon disappeared from her front yard on 11/12/2008 at Glendale Road and Sunset Road, off of Rufe Snow Drive near Chapman, right at the North Richland Hills and Watauga border. Her owners are offering a reward for her safe return. Cinnamon is an old girl, nearly deaf, and 13 years old. She really can use some assistance to find her way back home. LOST blue merle male Sheltie in Carrollton, 10/31/08 Neighborhood of Josey/Furneaux/Christie Lane. This is also near the George Bush and not too far from the Dallas North Tollway. He was out once before, and found twice within a couple of hours before caught -- once on the greenbelt nearby, and once on the George Bush. His name is FINN. This is a beautiful boy, about 1 year old, neutered and has all vaccinations, but is from a puppy mill and not socialized. He is not a biter at all -- but, very, very scared. If spotted, and you can get down to his level, you may have a chance of getting the little scared guy to come to you. That is how he was caught the first time he escaped -- by a wise woman who dropped to her knees and opened her arms. If anyone hears of anything about this dog, don't hesitate to get him to a vet or Animal Control -- we will take care of any charges. Found male Sheltie (or Sheltie mix) Saturday Octorber 11, 2008, in Mesquite around the Creek Crossing area. He is around 5 years old, has not been neutered, and weighs approximately 30 pounds. This little guy is great around the cats and other dogs. I have yet to hear him bark, he is a great dog, very calm, laid back, and friendly. . He is a very, very sweet dog. LOST South Mansfield.Please be on the look out for two-year old Sheltie. She has had hip surgery on her left rear leg about one year ago. She has one black toe nail on each foot and one ear does not stand up all the way. She has been fixed. Missing since Friday night, early Saturday morning. Answers to the name of Mandy. We recently quite by accident acquired a Papillon in our program. It was adopted and delivered to it's new home YESTERDAY. This morning, around 66:30, the daughter was out in the back yeard with it to go potty -- somehow, it must have slipped through the gap in the gate, and it hasn't been seen since. This is a male, mostly white, with brown and black, cute and friendly -- would probably go right up to anyone. We are hoping someone has it, and just hasn't called the contact phone numbers on it's tags yet. We called him Patches, short for Cotton Patch. He will come happily to a smile and a petting hand!
